Is a Billet TC enough??

So basically what it boils down to is I need my trans rebuild. I need to get out of this fairly cheap. What I'm thinking is have it rebuilt back stock with a billet torque converter a transgo shift kit and a good valve body. The only thing i have done are a 4" exhaust DIY intake and a superchips flashpaq. I want to get rid of the flashpaq and get either a DP or TW. What I'm wondering is will a stock tranny with a good TC and valve body hold up to those mods? From what i understand the stock tranny is decent except the TC. Let me know what you guys think.

answer is yes... it will hold up to what you want it for.. if you were going to upgrade injectors ect. then i would say do a full build.. but with a billet TC and a valvebody from either BTS or JW and custom tunes you should be fine

if your interested in some package deal prices let me know
