Intercooler Swap from 7.3 to 6.0

If I get a 6.0 intercooler and swap out my 7.3 2003 Excursion intercooler. Does anyone know a vendor who makes the kit for the hoses and brackets etc?

Honesty... Dont waste your time.

I saw less then a 50* drop when towing. Not worth it.

No problem bro. It is worth it if you need to replace the one you have or get it for free. I didn't notice much of a difference either.

^ Not to mention the 7.3 cooler will hold more boost. Its aluminum tanked.

i saw just over 100* drop after the swap, while pulling the same 10,000 pound RV over the same hills, and the ambient temp was actually 5* hotter

that being said...if i had paid retail for mine, i would probably be of the same mindset, but i picked it up for 50 bucks

hmmmmm

u guys are giving me 2nd thoughts...i thought id pick one up junk yard in good cond. probably $50-100? plus the kit....for only 50 d. lower i thought id be expecting 150 drop... i might have to reconsider but i was looking at doing the 6.0 tranny cooler to swap out my 7.3 tranny cooler. I have an Ex 4x4 so being thats it at 9400k and heavier than a pu truck. i wonder if it would be more helpful ?
