Is anyone running PRECISION TURBO

Is anyone running the PRECISION TURBO for the 7.3 How it compare to the stock charger or 38r

2000 F250, 6" bds,20'' kmc hoss with 37'' Xtreme AT's. 05 front,08 rear,S&B intake,4" proflow full exhaust,swamps custom tunes, swamps S/175/146 injectors,powerslots, hawks, ss brake lines,05 warn hubs, Pricol egt boost trans gauges ,Custom built tranny, low stall billet convertor, 38r, srp1

well my up-pipes should be here thursday so im going to fix the boost leak. See if thats where my boost pressure is goin. But looks like i will be going with the precision charger within the next month or so. BW diesel stated that the mid to upper rpm's is alot stronger than the 38r and couldn't get it to surge at all. little slower off the line but an awesome charger.

How much is that turbo? I'm still Savin up for a 38r buy keep buyin other stuff instead.

Well its not really much cheaper than the 38r, but you can rebuild it and alot of the parts are better quality than the 38r.

Yea i have been around alot of there chargers in the imports and buicks. Just wondering what the 7.3 thought about it.

Precision billet 7.3

this is the one ill be getting. it was a toss up with this or the d66. The precision turbo has around the same cfm but it spools up faster then the d66. And from person that have had both of them in the same truck. The Precision im told when it kicks in u can really feel it, kinda of like a jet pack...The garrett 38r i hear can produce turbo surge and when it fails. u have to change out the whole core not just the failed part. So it can get expensive...

Anyways lots of cool options to choose from...
