Just bought a dp and gauges! what do you guys think?

Lets start with the gauges:
They are glowshift brand and I ended up going with white. I got pyro, boost, and fuel psi. I got the pillar mount also and the mounting kit. They told me it runs $150 to install but I dont think it should be to bad to do myself just a little time consuming. I got them for $220 so I dont think its to bad I seen them on ebay for 200 but they didnt say anything about the wiring and such.


Now with the dp tuner:
I got the old f5 because everybody likes them and the tunes I selected I went with 1: Stock, 2: Lope Idle, 3: 80 Econo, 4: 80 Tow, and 5: 140 agressive I think. The guy told me it was the one that has more low end power. They install it for free so that sounded great. The total on the dp was around $450 after tax. I just hope the tunes I went with are going to suit my needs/wants hehe.

Stock truck outside of the tuner and gauges?

Yep, straight piped and a diy intake but other than that bone stocky. Im mainly after some better fuel mileage but I figured id go with some fuel burning stuff to when I feel happy. I drive about 40 miles back and forth to work a day and im getting around 18 mpg.

Manual! Not sure how the clutch will like it. Guy told me when I bought it that it had recently had one put in it. Who knows the real truth.

Haha....Yeah I was debating on chips and alot of guys are running dps ive noticed and it seems they have a little resale value to them also....Ive noticed my truck has days it just doesnt seem like it runs right. Kinda strange I thought.

i'm ordering my gauges and tuner nxt friday along with the wicked wheel in the nxt few days. i can wait to get home and have a good time!!!!

If you purchased the chip used it may need to be checked against what you have on your truck and what the chip is burned for. The chip may need to be reburned.

Yall do live tunes right? I thought i read in one of the mags where yall have a guy that will come and do live tunes.
