banks transcommand and chip... worth it?

i am getting a php fu chip and i was wondering if the transcommand would still be worth it.

Don't need it if you are getting custom tunes.

Yup, the chip controls the shift points. I had a transcommand on mine but put th by-pass plug on it when I got my php chip, my truck shifts much better now.
One of these days I'm going to just unhook the transcommand.
