MBRP Exhaust owners...

Okay, I'm ordering my exhaust system here in a bit, but I'm getting caught up on one final detail. Platform.

My questions is this: Does it not matter if you have a crew cab, regular cab, super cab, dually, SRW, etc.? I can't seem to find a different part number for ANY exhaust system based on these different platforms.

I want to buy a 5" Turbo Back exhaust from MBRP and the only option says "All Cab/Bed." Is that right? This exhaust better not look stupid. I'm gonna be pissed If I order it, and it looks retarded sticking WAY out there since I have a supercab shortbed.

The all come with the downpipe, piece to go between the downpipe and muffler with a little curve in it, a straight piece, and then the piece to go up and over the axle and out the back. That straight piece is just left out on the reg cab long beds and ext cab short bed models, and is put in for the crew cab long beds as it is. Any other configuration and you need to cut it to fit your truck.

They will fit all cab/bed configurations. If you have a cc/lb, you will use all of the pipes. If you have anything else, you will either leave a pipe out or possible have to cut a pipe. Installation is very straight forward and requires no welding, it is 100% bolt in.

Well... I understand the whole "100% bolt on" aspect, however I wasn't/didn't plan on the possibility of having to cut the pipe. I was going to install this myself, but if there's any other steps to do besides bolt-on stuff... then I'd feel more comfortable taking it to a shop, but I didn't want to have to do that. Oh well... no choice I guess. Thanks guys

i mean surley you can run a chop saw?? or a hack saw at best you may have 2 cut off half a ft or so atleast thats how my buddies diamond eye was

Yeah, I can run a hack saw, but I'd still feel more comfortable with a shop doing it. Mainly because they're to blame if something goes wrong. I'm not one for a steady hand (unless its shooting) so things like that, where the margin for error is really small... I'd prefer someone else doing it.

i mean its pretty straight forward the instructions will say if u have this cab design cut the center peice 2 x lenght if ur fell comfortable installing it then you should have no issue cutting one piece of pipe at a certain length

I just installed one on my truck....all u have to do it shorten one piece....U cut it once....but i have a crew cab short bed....so one cut maybe...

Man just cut it you can only cut it to short!...Measure more than once and you will be fine!
