You can run nitrous as much as you want, but I would start with a medium jet and see if it clears up most of your smoke on your hottest tune.

the only thing that nitrous is adding to your engine is oxygen and nitrogen and if something bad was going to happen to a diesel engine for getting too much of that their would be a throttle plate like in a gasoline engine i say take whatever pellet you have and drill that bad boy out and run the hell out of it

if boost adds air then air makes power nos adds air so nos adds power my only question now is are you gonna wait for the turbo or just push a button for that power and let the turbo get their !!!!CAUTION!!!! YOUR TOURQUE CONVERTER WILL NOT LIKE THIS IF ITS AN AUTOMATIC WATCH YOUR TRANS TEMPS if its a stick i say give it hell

The only problem you might have is breaking something from a surge of power, or too much power if you have PMR's Not sure what your setup is like though. But like said before there would be something to stop it otherwise. Just be careful with pulling regulations, depends on how they are, might not let you run NOS if you haven't looked into it already.
