DP tuner question

Should my DP tuner be blowing black smoke on the stock position?

Also im having a knock at idle sometimes when at a stop light. I know its eaither injector 8, low fuel pressure, or the flexplate. But the question i really have what if the flexplate explodes will it destroy other parts?

Yeah i didnt think so. haha. Well I got home today from work and my truck is running kinda funny at the moment but whatever it runs. If something goes wrong or breaks then ill know the problem. but anyways i parked my truck in the driveway and decided to see what my tuner was doing, 80 econ reved it black smoke, stock setting reved it got black smoke. I think im having an issue with the PCM connection with the DP tuner, a boost leak, or a weak HPOP?
