banks stuff is way overpriced. Exhaust is exhaust. It dont matter what the name is. Try and look for a budget kit. I think Stealth has one and he is a sponser.

You can get a similar package for much less and still get the same, if not more, power and mileage. I suggest going with a full 4" turbo back exhaust and S&B intake to start with. You can then look into programming. Feel free to give me a holler if you have any questions.

As has been pointed out (I knew exactly what would be said before I even opened this thread) that Banks products are expensive. But I tell you what, it will fit and it will fit GOOD. Banks product quality is second to none, but you do pay for it.

Okay so I want to modify the turbo like banks does, have the exhaust, I already have an airaid cold air intake. Put the otto mind into it, transcommand. Yeah I know this is the kit but who else exactly does this the same exact way and stands behind their product. Yes I want the truck to sound nice but I am mostly looking to make the truck last longer by opening her up and letting her breath better. I am also looking for the MPG'S too so for me its not all about sound.
Like I said I have the airaid plus the throttle body spacer that goes into the turbo boot housing. What are some other companies out there that have exhaust kits like banks including the turbo and all that and also the power elbow cuz I'm changing that too? Chris |

honestly bud you can get far better performance that is safe for far far less money then going with banks... the reason they sell a trans command is because their six gun does not tune the transmission...
the TB spacer wont do anything either... unless you want to use it as a paper weight... my advice is lose all the banks stuff and do this Gauges 4" TB exhaust straight piped custom tuned chip like TW, PHP or DP upgrade your stock trans trans cooler to a larger 6.0L trans cooler if you still have money left over and you really want to do upgrades to the turbo you can do a ATS intake housing, Ported Exhaust housing and EBV delete pedestal.... but by the time you spend the money on this you could have almost bought a garret 38R upgraded turbo... trust me... listen to everyone on here... ask around on the forums (not guys that only read diesel power and look at the huge adds Banks has) noone is running banks... if they are they cant wait to get it off for better parts -Raul |

Guy your right I'm limited for cash. I mean how much would a new turbo be that is up there in performance and how much would be a good sized exhaust? I'm sorry I'm asking questions I'm 23 trying to figure my diesel out, trying to do my own work to it now. That was a huge setup that you just listed which some of it I did not understand and I'll be honest. I can wrench but I'm still learning now I'm getting into trucks mostly motocross bikes is all I have done. Give me a list that would be comprable to a Stinger Plus which by the sounds of it there is none but something along those lines.
