DP tuner Vs. Stock

Well i sent my chip back last thursday to DP tuner for a reburn cuz of my new trans and i am so anxious to get it back because my truck has NOOOOO power at all without it. Its so crappy i dont want to drive my truck out of the driveway. I cant believe the people that have 7.3Ls without a chip! ITs gutless. well maybe because im on 37s?

ha i got the stock tune as one on my dp and its like doing negative horsepower!

the difference in a stock and a dp tuned truck is like night and day

yeah chipped trucks should come from the factory.

But im really asking is it that normal for my truck to be a sluggish POS with no chip on 37s? I can barly roll down the highway at 70!!!

Haha yeah I have the stock setting burned into my chip and Everynow and then I will switch it over to stock and it makes me realize just how glad I am to have a chip lol

What's everyone's MPG using the 80 Economy setting, on their DP Chip? I've heard that the 80 Economy setting is the best "all around" setting. Gives you the best power to fuel economy ratio. Just curious... Also, if you have any other mods that aren't listed in your profile, please share. Thanks!

got my chip back yesterday from DP, and holy crap! the new re-burned tunes rip! Gotta love it!

I agree, the new 120 race file has super aggressive shifting. Only problem is now i dont really like to daily around in it. One of these days I'll take all the tools out of the back and see if she'll chirp second gear.

I didn't like the 80e, it locked the TC too early and bogged me down going up hills at 40-50 MPH and smoked out all the people behind me. I changed it out for the 60e and it's not quite as fast but its smoke free. I really like it.
