Wicked wheel performance gains

Has anyone here experienced higher boost levels after installing a wicked wheel? They say the wheel has no performance gains, all it does is eliminate surge in 7.3 turbos. I installed mine, and not only does the turbo spool up faster, but it builds more boost too. It is the highest in the 140hp setting, I have seen it register from 28-30ish. Now I am running a boost fooler, so there is nothing to hold the turbo back.
