Hybrid injectors

Are they worth it over stock? Where can I get a good set that won't cost an arm an a leg to get. I want to upgrade but don't want to have to get a new HPOP and then injectors. Or should I just stay stock?

250 cc hybrids with .011 nozzles put down 408 hp and 925 torque with my tow burn.

Yea their worth it, and then some. Stock turbo and stock fuel system as well. My tunes on the chip.

Honestly if you plan on staying with stock turbo, hpop and stock fuel system stage 2's will be the best way to go IMO. Stage 2's will run ya 1300-1500 range and hybrids will run ya 2k+. Dont get me wrong my hybrids are alot of fun, but they are capable of breaking everything if you have all the supporting mods to go with them (trust me i know all to well). As far as a chip, im a little biased but i say go with one from Wildman.

I honestly don't know what I plan on doing. I'd like to upgrade everything over time, not too long though. I want an end result of low 13 high 12 truck if possible. So I know all that stock stuff you mentioned won't get me there. But Where should I go next with what I've got? I also just emailed David Lott the same questioning and asked if he would give his opinion if he had time. My point is I know that I will spend alot, But should I start bolting in and on all these after market things? Or should I just break down, pull the engine and get it ready to handle what it can first before I blow it up? I know you, luke, and others have killed these things trying to go big so thats why I am asking cause I can't see dumping 5k into it and then blowing it up. I'd much rather see 5k go in the lower end of the motor, and not see much of a gain but also know that when the truck does get to the next performance step, its not going to go bang, or at least right away.

Build it to handle the power first, then put the power to it. Luke's truck is waiting on some billet rods and then it will go back together and will be able to handle what he has for power adders.

How much can my stock rods handle? Aren't the early '99 trucks better then later 7.3 engines?

Yes, the earlier trucks have the forged rods, however, from what it sounds like your shooting for then billet rods are the way to go.

If your looking for 450 or so, the stock rods should handle that just fine.

Ok then wildman, thanks. Then whick injectors would you put on with my current setup, ones that will work with the stock HPOP? I don't think I'm anywhere near 450 RWHP right now, even with NO2. Rear wheel HP is what you were talking about with that number right?

Yes, rwhp, if I were you I would look at the 230cc hybrids, you can take it easy with the programing until you get a bigger turbo so you don't overspool the stocker.
