dp tuneer (codes 80 econ) vs (80 econ)?

REAL newbie! just got my first diesel two days ago....anyways....i want to get the dp tuner (f5) and was wandering what the difference is between the (codes 80 econ) and the (80 econ) will my truck throw those codes if i get the regular 80 econ verses the codes one etc.....
