DP-tuner settings on a sorta stock F250

Hey guys,

I just bought a used Dp-tuner and i sent it off to get my PCM code put in it. My questions should i be worried about the higher HP settings that are on it. this is what they are below.

1.stock
2.60hp tow
3.80hp eco
4.120hp race
5.140hp aggressive.

all my pickup has right now is a intake and 3.5 inch straight pipe. Should i worry if i EVER get the itch to go to 120 or 140 with what i have? Will the exhaust heat up to much? i honestly just plan to run 60 and 80hp eco my 16mpg i get right now isnt enough .... Let me know your guys input on this.

You should be fine as long as you have gauges to monitor it.

Ya I'd say it would be possible to run excessive egts but like was already said, keep check on the egt guage and use the right tune for the right purpose. Like not towing in an agressive tune. You should be ok for the most part though.
