What's under my dash?

I was cleaning out the truck and noticed a wire harness hanging down. I traced it to a silver canister (like a tiny vac cylinder) under the passenger side dash. It has black and white wires in the harness. What is it?!

Is the "plug" that the wires run into, clear? I have the same thing in my truck I think the "wires" are hoses but I'm not sure

just my thought here...

turn the truck to the on position, put your heater controls to face ..then cycle it to max ac it appears thats an actuator ( thats a vacuum line going into it ) and it looks like thats an outside air vent and it almost looks like it has a door on it.. could control outside air coming into the truck..

i dont feel like ripping mine apart lol i just went outside and seen it has a plastic panel under there haha

lemmie know the results..
