what filter for afe stage 2?

pro guard 7, pro 5r , or pro dry s

i have decided on the afe kit, want to know what filter, and from any one that has one, dose it make the turbo loud?

It allows you to hear the whistle more, yes. Pro Guard 7 has the best reputation and is what i see most afe people with. The pro dry would be for someone who like clean and forget every 30thousand, where as the other two filters have the extra step of oiling them.

Pro Guard 7 will filter the best, Pro 5r will flow the best, Pro Dry S is the easiest to maintain. Most people go with the PG7 for filtration or the Pro Dry S for ease of use.
