What next...

Couple questions about the next step. I HAVE K&N Intake, MBRP 4" T.B. Ex., Edge Evo and Boost/Pyro Guages.

What would be some smaller mods ($$$) for HP or engine performance???

What would help with throttle response ?? Seems to be alittle lag time when you get on it.

Is a propane injection worth the $$$$$$$$.....

Any comments or help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

As long as you use it sparingly you should be fine. People add windows to their block when they get greedy with the 'pane. As for smaller mods I think I would have to get rid of the K&N intake and go with the AFE stage 2 air intake. I love mine, helped out with EGT's and gave me very decent power increase.

I do have the MBRP 4" Exhaust. The propane (for now anyway) is just a dream.

It seems that the AFE stage II is the intake to have. What about wastegate actuator and high pressure fuel pumps. Do they help at all with HP or performance ?? Diesel motors are still knida new to me. Thanks again.

You can unplug the vacuum line at the wastegate and plug it off with something, like a small screw. That will give you about 3 to 5 psi more boost. As far as high pressure fuel pumps are concerned, that's something I have never messed with. Some of the guys on here have though.

You could also shim the fuel regulator with will give some more cheap power. If you do the take the vaccum line off you might wanna get a boost relief valve so that the computer doesn't defuel from having too much boost.

Talking what next

Try shimming your fuel pressure regulator to 75psi or like mine, 90psi. Get a ICP controler from wildbill at defuser.com. Also Bill can get you a HPX line. These are inexpencive and seat of the pants mods.

Before you get too out of controll with the power you might want to look into beefing up the tranny. I found that out the hard way $3k later but it's beefed up now first thing I would do is upgrade the TC very week point in these trannys.
