I have decided on ordering this chip.......... its being extremely difficult to locate the "box code" though, i tried getting in there with a flashlight and I still can't read it, theres not enough room to get in there, anyone know how hard it is to pull it out?
If you remove the black bracket that holds the pcm, then there should be a black plug that has the pcm code, it will be 3 letters and 1 number. If the plug is gone, then remove the pcm by taking the harness off in the engine bay, and slide the pcm out under the dash.
Remove the 10mm bolt holding the connector and go under your dash and near the kick panal the black plastic case is the PCM just remove the 2 7mm bolts and just pull out it's alittle tricky just wiggle alittle
