Alright, what have I gotta do to beat a 2006 Dodge Cummins CC 4x4?

He is claiming the Dodge Site says his new 2006 Cummins is 325 horse, (Big Horn Edition)... and his is modified to something like 340??? That possible... Something like 610 lbs of torque?

My "po lil farm twuck" only has a free flow exhaust about 4", and Superchips programmer on my 2003 4x4 Crew Cab 7.3 PSD.... He is my Business Partner and I smell a Duel coming... What have I gotta do to get a win..??? Don't try? Tell him I don't want to make him feel bad?

What do you think, you all would know... This is a rare situation in Oz...

Regards from the Lone Ranger in Australia, "out on the Last Frontier"....

Slap a set of 200+cc hybrids in your rig, get a custom chip and you'll spank that thang!

Alright, what are 200 cc Hybrids? I am guessing some kind of BIG injectors to shovel the fuel in? And what kind of Chip up, what are we really talking about... And then, what will the truck be like to drive when I am not putting a Dodge or Chev to shame? Lol...

The President of our Bushtracker Owners Group has a Duramax/Allison here now being converted... I can see that challenge too!

So what do we do?

Is money an issue? If not, find someone over there that can build a 7.3. Over here, we have Wipe Out Enterprises. He specalizes in IH (International Harvester) engines and is one of the best Power Stroke builders in the country. A guy I know had his 7.3 done there and dropped $18,000. It has a turbo the size of Texas, and a custom fuel system that ran him $5,000. The casting of the block and heads are the only stock items under the hood. With this set-up, you should be able to pull your buddies Cum-A-Part and the Dura-Crap at the same time!

I just bought billet connecting rods, chromoly pushrods and main studs from Wipeout Enterprises, VERY GOOD people to deal with.

3rd gen cummins are very capable of making 500+ with only fuel system mods, turbo and electronics. You have your work cut out for you. Prepare to spend 20k+ if you want to even have a chance of out running him.

Well, Thanks Guys.....

From the sounds of things, I don't think I will be dragging the Cummins around... My Effie sounds better, looks better, guess I will have to settle for that... Can't see spending $20 k, and then some after they tax the crap out of me to import a special motor... Ha!

I won't pick on the Dodge Cummins, just the rice grinders around town... Ha!
