Mods....and miles

Hey all, I recently bought a 2k Excursion with 171K on the odo. I have a Magnaflow going on in a few days. I was considering doing the whole nine yards, intake, compressor wheel, programmer/chip, etc. Any opinions on doing this stuff considering the miles? The truck as it sits has no leaks and runs very strong, but I do want to use caution, as I think the warranty is up by now

Any opinions are welcome.

TA

as long as you maintain it well and there are no signs of it slowing down i would not feel like it would be a problem at all.......plus since the motor is plenty able to handle these mods brand new......and yours sounds to be in good shape....if you do end up with an issue.....it was probably coming anyway. the only thing i could see having any kind of problem is the injectors.....if they are as old as the truck.....they may be getting tired already and a heavy chip may show thier sluggishnes that you cant feel with the stock programming..........Marc
