- SP boost fooler

.......... would i get higher numbers on the dyno runs rather than PHP or TW ????
For one thing with Matt's OR Bills tunes from PHP you dont need a boost fooler... You will see better numbers with out it because the use the MAP for fueling and want to see what max boost is.

But to answer your question I don't think you will see much higher numbers on a stock truck.

Reason I see high numbers with little mods is because of my ported heads and Matt has spent HOURS perfecting the tunes for my injectors that I have from Unlimited.

I'd go with PHP since Bill has been around longer than basically any other tuner and Tony has been having some family medical problems and there is quite a long wait. Both are great choices though.

Don't get my wrong I like Bill and one of my buddies is running his tuning on his stock truck. But just because someone has been around longer means they are better at something then someone else.

I never said that he was better or not better. I just used that as a reason. I should of used the reason that he has a good first name.

I have Tonys tuning and love it. Tony is a great guy to do business with also. I plan to stick with Tony but if I ever decided to change for some reason I would go straight to PHP without hesitation.

While talking to Tony the #1 thing I got out of it is that every truck reacts different to different programs. People here saying that they got better mileage with daily than econo and more smoke in extreme than smoke, etc are absolutely right on their truck, however that does not mean that every truck and setup will react the same way.

Good Example: Me and Jake meet up with Tony in Cleveland a month or so ago. He put a drive thru tune on Jakes truck and it did nothing at all. Tony said he put the EXACT same file on a truck the day before with the same computer code, same year, same mods, same everything and it worked perfect on that truck. Also Tony tried to make the other guys truck lope and it would not at all no matter what he tried...again put the EXACT same program on Jakes truck and it loped insanely.

We didnt get live tuned, just made a few changes on the computer for free one night, only took like a half hour. He was already up here in Ohio so we just stopped by his hotel to chat and get a quick reburn.

Live Tuning from Tony is $50 an hour, with a minimum of 4 hours plus the cost of the chip (which you already have). So $200 if it only takes the minimum time.
