Improved flow LPOP ?'s
Long story short I am going to be installing a new LPOP on my truck tonight (hopefully) with a Melling unit that claims to be an improved design with higher flow. Mostly because O'Reilly's could get it today and the dealer couldn't get it for a few days. I just got to thinking about the design and comparing a high flow pump to a small block Chevy and was wondering where the pressure regulator for the LPOP (The one that lines the engine) is? I would assume that it has one somewhere. If not, could a high flow unit cause and problems with seals or overfilling the HPOP? Just trying to cover my bases. Thanks.
