This is interesting. I had my buddy (a master tech) come over and scan my truck. It has been running rough on idle, seeing lower boost psi and is just plain running rough through the rpm range in all gears. Buzz test turned out fine. I am leaning towards the ICS being bad. It is showing cylinders 1 and 8 misfiring and says faulty pcm along with a few other things but he and I are leaning towards a faulty ICS. Any thoughts before I just go and buy one??? Sorry to hijack this thread . . .

Correct. ICP sensor . . .

I put new ICP in . . . no help

I took valve covers off and did the UVC harness shim kit and also zip tied them

. . . still nothing

When we tried to do a contribution test on it the truck just dies so I am leaning more towards a bad ICDM (Injection Control Driver Module). Going to swap one in there tomorrow and see if we can run the contribution test then. This is really a pain in the a**!!

CPS was changed 12/07 by recall at dealership. Not IDM either . . . it's injectors 1 and 8 after the scan. Sad thing is I had some sand sediment in the fuel filter after my last fill up at a stop n go about a 1/2 hour from me and that when this started. It's been just over a month now so I don't think I could get them to pay for anything. Sucks that's for sure!! Now I'm into this thing about $1200 and still need to buy injectors and probably a retune.

I ended up having 5 injectors bad! This ICP resistor mod had me curious though so last night I wired up a 3.9k resistor to a switch and also put a 10k directly in the plug. I also put my tune back to stock before doing this just to see. Definitely made a difference but no smoke for me. Plus I can't tell any difference with the idle with the switch on or off. I am going to take both resistors out tonight and put my tune back on . . .
