7.3 power!!!!

alright guys i need some help here so please post your pros and cons...

i have a 2002 7.3 diesel POWERSTROKE! and im wanting to push some major horsepower and torque outta this beast...

i already have an air filter, air intank, straight pipe 4" ( wanting a 5" to 7 inch stacks ), a TS 6 stage tuner, and an ATS 5 star torque converter coming in soon...

iam wanting to add bigger injectors, turbo, fuel system, ect...

so PLEASE!!!! leave me some ideas, brands, and some help on what i should and should not get...

Your connecting rods are gonna be a weak point. PMR rods, from what I hear on here, dont like to stay in the motor above 400HP. Those are gonna be your down fall.

Yep, ^^^what he said. PMR's are going to be your downfall when you want to make big power with your '02. I've seen some stay in the block above 400hp, but once you hit that 400hp mark, you are playing a dangerous game.

As far as injectors go; Rosewood, Beans, Hypermax, are a few

Turbo; GTP38R, or you could put a 6.0 Turbo on it!

Fuel; Your going to need a good fuel system and more than likely big oil at some point. Check out Dieselsite.com, Bob is a great guy to deal with.

i was thinkin for a turbo around a H2e turbo... any advice on a brand of turbo or fuel pump, lift pump, and connecting rod brands? remember i want to go fast... ill post a pick of my truck on here...

sorry its small... and its a little out dated... i just put a ranch hand front end replacement and added 4:88 gears to it ill get new pics whenever i get a chance to do it...

If i were you and I wanted to make big power I would probably get rid of the 7.3 liter powerjoke and get a 5.9 cummins. Just one mans opinion.
