I'm just sayin, without your lift you'd be faster. And it would tow more comfortably.
It actually tows better since I lifted it. Yes, I put the lift on it myself 2.5 years ago and I have owned the truck for the last 9.5 years. I towed with it the first day I owned it and I can tell you, it tows better now than it ever did. Good shocks and a load control system will do wonders for towing.

It might be faster lower, I will be finding out when I burn up these 35's, I will be going back to stock wheels and tires(I say that now).

Pretty sure my "stock, completely, never modified 3/4 ton," when I bought it a year old, has 350 springs on it. Maybe that's why I like it so much better than other trucks I've ridden around in. Not that they ride badly.

Actually a lot of the 12v had d80 rears and all had the 60 front. Even the srws had a lot of D80 rears like mine. the drivetrain stayed the same throughout the 2nd gens. Ya see if we had a lot of cummins around here I would probably be driving a psd again and be trying to make it fast instead of a cummins.

uhh i dont think so bro...
im not trying to start anything but i hav 12.5 inches of lift on my 02 7.3 and it pulls and rides perfectly... ive towed cars from Corpus Christy all the way to houston with no problems and my rear end never squatted due to the bigger shocks and leaf springs... and with the 4:88 gears i have in it makes it ride with alot more balls.. sh*t i can tow a car up hill going 70 with cruise still on and it wouldnt down shift! lol

doesnt matter if a truck is lifted its how you tune it after you lift it...

Yeah and my truck loaded will do 78-80 on grades more comfortably than it will do 70 up the same grade. The higher RPM's help keep the boost up to carry the load.

I'm just sayin, tall tree, short tree, which one is gonna bend more in the wind. Doesn't really matter how thick the tree trunk, it's a physics thing. Long springs, more sidewall... But whatever...............

There everywhere around here.
Are you confusing the cummins n psds?n theyre everwhere everyone n their mom has one literally i watched and entire family of cummins drive by the other day

your truck with 12.5" of lift will not handle a load/ tow like a stock height truck, are you on drugs?

Well, I don't remember anything that really resembled a hill between the first coastal city he mentioned, and the second coastal city he mentioned. So I imagine they stay pretty constant.
