Its easily solved you want cummins power buy a dodge, you want a powerstroke buy a ford, its not cheap to get big horsepower out of anything its all a labor of love and what you can squeeze into a budget Im tired of working on mine and i just feel like enjoyin it. just my 2cents

Ha not around here there not. Just driving from my house to base yesterday (about 13 miles) I stopped counting lifted superdutys after a dozen even though i saw still another probably 2-3. In the same time frame i saw 1 3500 dually that im assuming was a cummins (it was stock). As i said we have very few cummins and duramax's around here as everybody and there moms dog has a psd. There all lifted to with the average tire being about a 38" without exaggerating(?). Everywhere ive been around here (va and nc) ive noticed more psd's then cummins. As I said i like something different so if cummins were rolling around here everywhere id probably be driving a psd or straight-axled duramax.

Very true words.

It becomes pointless to race every 13 or 14 second dodge, duramax or 6.0 and of course YOU'LL be the one pulled over cause of the highway fire it'll look like you've created w/ the smoke.

dude im sorry but it even says on the instructions the leaf springs could handle up to 5000 more pounds than regular stock leaf springs.... im sorry but its kinda a fact! i have, last time i checked, 10 leaf springs on the rear.. it may be a little more stiff of a ride but my rear end doesnot sag as much as it use to carring the same loads..

my EGT's stay constant around 850-1100 on cruise up hill and down... i dont know why people tend to argue over the lifted truck theory... yeah some people like them because they are bigger than normal trucks and some people are jelous just because a lifted truck pulls up next to them at a red light.. to tell you the truth where im from lifted trucks are common but thats because us folks usually take them to the mud hole and drink a couple beers on the week end and i just wanted to be a little higher than my friends! and boy howdy did that piss them off!

But also you gotta take in mind.. i have had other ford diesels with no lift on them and since i have had this lifted truck i find no difference except in a little higher in EGT's!

FYI that torque converter you bought the 5star is not ideal when your looking for big power, and longevity, there are 5 discs whichs soundss great but they are extremely small, and two dont so anything. and your PMR's are goin to limit you to about 450hp

As far as injectors go; Rosewood, Beans, Hypermax, are a few

Turbo; GTP38R, or you could put a 6.0 Turbo on it!

Fuel; Your going to need a good fuel system and more than likely big oil at some point. Check out Dieselsite.com, Bob is a great guy to deal with.

Keep us posted.

You can put a 6.0 turbo in a 7.3??
