Newbe looking for programer

Hey all,

I am looking at buing a programer for my late 99 psd with auto .

So far I have seen so many of them, Ia m not sure what to get. I would like to get some extra power, and mpg, and for a fun day some extra smoke and more power.

What "chip" "programer" does everyone like? I was thinking of the Sniper delta tuner, just so I could play around with settings, plus get some extra gauges. but I could get a edge evo and save a few bucks....

At this point i am confused which way to go...

Save up your money and get one of the custom tuners. You will be so much happier in the end.

DP - DP Tuner
TW - Tony Wildman
PHP - Power Hungry Performance

These are the three that I can think of right now but I know there is more and others will chime in. They are all good and you will be happy with whichever one you get but deffinately go custom.

i agree..... only way to go is with a custom tuned chip... i personally run a TW chip... also remember you need need a set of gauges as well...

thanks for the info, I think I will go with a custom chip / programer. But first I will get gauges. Boost, trans temp, Pyrometer.

Hey all,

well my psd is leaking oil!!!!!!!!!!!! When I left home today the oil was right in hte middle of the dipstick (cross hatched area) drove about 40 miles, and now it is on the top of the add!!!!!!!!!!!!! but thanks to this site, and a few great pics, I have a place to start looking for my oil leak.

If it's not leaking as in dripping out below the truck I'd be checking your injector o-rings quick before it completely goes!
