My brother has one in his 6.0, its pretty neat. Basically, its a set of gauges in a box. I'm not sure if the power level will adjust with programmers made by other companies, but the gauge function is worth it for a modern look, if thats what you are looking for.

Yea I saw you had that outlook for sale and was thinking about it. Does it have all the probes or does it plug in the OBD II port?
So you're sayin if I get one of em, I may or may not be able to run a chip later on? |

They are said to be compatible with all chips/tuners, but on my brother's truck, he can adjust the power level on the fly with the outlook. I'm not sure if that function works with other companies programmers or not. I know the gauge function will still work with any programmer or even stock tunes.

Awesome. I would love gauges, but I'd love it even better to be able to just plug and go haha

It works with other chips. You just cant use the shift on the fly feature through the monitor unless you have the bullydog triple dog downloader. You can still switch on the fly with other multi position chips just not through the monitor. When I tried it would throw trouble codes and the ses light would come on. The monitor that plugs into the obd II port was saying reduce the power, and the chip, plugged into the pcm was saying more |

So might just be easier to go with gauges?
