GTP38R Retune?

I'm probably going to be getting a GTP38R as my stock turbo is on its way out, and was wondering if my custom tunes for the stocker will work or should I get my tunes tweaked for the GTP38R for what its capable of. I don't know if just changing the turbo will allow me alittle more performace on the tunes

I would think you'd need to get it retuned for optimal performance. I would also think the gt38 WOULD run on the tunes you have now, maybe just not very good.

yeah i got the 38R, i like it if i wont gonna go any farther with my build up... but im gonna go for more HP so the 38R wont cut it for me... it is a great drop in turbo and does well for alot of people... but im gonna be going compound setup when the new motor goes in and the 38R isnt in my plans for that
