6.0 trans cooler install
just got a 6,0 cooler today and was looking into installing it. ino one of the lines has to be lengthened to reach the other side of the trans cooler, and ino it bolts in the factory position. just wondering if there was anything else thats needed for the install? other then more trans fluid.
thanks |

Um you have the make the lines a little bigger coming off the cooler and reduce it down to stock size if I remember correctly. Sorry I cant think of the sizes

i kinda figured. i thought the inlet and outlet tube of the 6.0 cooler seemed bigger.. would it be easier just to run all new rubber lines? instead of splicing into a small line with a bigger line? that would improve flow also wouldnt it?

Well it would, but Im not sure if that would be good or not. Mines just spliced into it and works great.

You need
4 feet of 1/2 inch trans hose 2- 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch brass hose barb (Barb to barb) 4- hose clamps and some extra ATF fluid |
