Stock or Upgrade??

I just purchased the banks sport exhaust. It doesnt come with a down pipe. I was wondering if the down pipe makes that much difference. Should i leave the stock one or go ahead and get a bigger down pipe as well??

i would upgrade the whole system if it was myself. get better flow and egts down. and it will make the exhaust sound a little bit louder.

downpipe is really the choke point... so yes, upgrade it!

The one from banks is like 120 bucks. Is this pretty much a going price? Or is there another out there? I do want stainless though. Thanks

I vote for the upgrade… I think you will see a better reduction in exhaust temps with a nice free flowing down pipe.

thats not a bad price, but you can get a full 4" mbrp with downpipe for like 300.. and yes upgrade it.

But the one you are referring to from MBRP doesnt include a muffler does it? I got the banks because I wanted some kind of muffler to help with that mid range sound.
