Chip+straight pipe?????? Lost - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum

Chip+straight pipe?????? Lost

I was told by this person that if i chip my truck (ts 6 pos) that i will need to straight pipe it before cause the backpressure??

Most people straight pipe in order to reduce EGT's and allow the truck to breathe better. Running tunes increases fuel obviously. More fuel=more heat. I wouldnt advise running a tune untill you have

Some sort of exhaust work (straight pipe, full system, etc)

99.5 F-250 Lariat 4x4 CC

-5" TB into 6" miter
