DIY Water Inj?

This could be a dumb question but could of swore I saw a thread on it awhile ago. Is it possible to build your own Water or Water/Meth Injection setup?

I would imagine you could do it, I have thought about it quite a bit, but havent seen the need yet. My first thought was a washer fluid pump. I was going to check how many psi i could get out of 1. Then I thought just run a second line off my washer fluid tank to a little electric in line fuel pump have it on a switch so when I got too hot just hit the switch. I never thought past there. Im sure someone has done their own. Good luck

The washer fluid pump would not make near enough pressure to get good gains out of water/meth.

Well from what Ive been reading it looks like you could male your own if you used a switch to turn it on n off. Also I keep seeing a pump (hobbs) that activates within a certain psi?? Anyone else with ideas?

The hobbs is a switch IIRC, that operates the pump based on boost pressure alone. The pump you're going to need will have to be somewhere around 250psi. Go to Snow and check it out. You can by the parts and build your own kit, save you a little dough. I've heard good things about Coolingmist, both for quality and price. Also, check out Innovative diesels website, they sell a kit from AFE I believe it is, for 400 bucks, a lot better than 6-700 for Snow

Well im trying to find deals on fleabay for a pump, already found a switch. What size nozzles and how many should I run? Im thinking of only doing a 150psi pump just cause my truck isnt really pushing any power.
