EGT's

Guys running extreme tunes mine is a 140 hp tune just wondering wat your EGT's are im sittin around 1300 WOT, that sound about right??


2001 F350 S/C 4x4 DRW 6spd
475K
DpTuner-high idle, 80E, 100Perf, 120Race, 4inch TB exhaust with 5in. Single black Stack, Custom 4in. intake with AEM dry filter, ISSPRO boost,pyro and water temp, zoodad mod, Beans 1.0 A/R non wastegate turbine housing

I have a dp tuner I can hammer mine I usually can hit maybe 1100-1200 but it takes me from a stop to about 3rd or 4th gear wot to get that high. Mine stays pretty cool but I have to say your fine most likely

didnt think that was too bad i have a heavier truck though

I have yet to see over 1200 degrees in any tune with any load!! EGT's are controlled by good airflow and even better tunning.

With stock intake and stock exhaust on Edge Extreme I am about 1250 EGT and defueling about 60 MPH from a stop.

on cool days at the end of a 1/4 mile run .on extreme with water meth egts hit 1560.

ya hardly ever use extreme because its EXTREME, LOL but just wanted some feedback on wat everyone else was seeing

i hit 1400 wot on a regular basis
