waistgate unhooked?
how risky is it to unplug my waistgate..I ran it yesterday un hooked and saw a 5-7 higher psi diffrence than I do with it hooked up...will this kill my turbo?

If it is over spooling whats its good for I dont think its really gving you any performance gains

It's fine, a lot of people are running upto 30psi. I have mine unhooked and I have been running average 28max psi. I've seen it go over 33psi on the more aggresive tunes but I let off.

the most ive seen is 32 on my highest tune is it doing more risk than good

Yeah over time if you are past 30psi it will do damage to the turbo. I know the extra speed puts excessive wear on the turbo but once in a while I think can still be reliable turbo. You also have to remember that to much fuel will cause the EGT's to skyrocket so you need to add the extra air to keep the EGT's low.

I try to keep mine under 30psi though it is hard for me. I have already lost one turbo to overspeed!

Like I said if you overspool the turbo it will shorten the life. Plus when you over spool, it doesnt give more power just creates more hot air your forcing in to the motor
