NEW TO DIESEL QUESTION

hey guys, this weekend ill be picking up my bone stock 7.3 ext cab lariat with 120,000 mi and i was wondering what my first mods should be? i was thinking i would start with an exhaust, intake, and a tuner
i was wondering if this is a good way to start and if so what brands should o go with?

yup thats a good list. i would get gauges before the chip though. EGT boost and trans.

i know a lot of you guys are against EDGE but the one i was looking at getting one that had those gauges on there

I love my dp (dp-tuner.com) jody knows his stuff,the mbrp is about the only way to go with exhaust in my opinion,intakes jeeeez,there are so many...I'm getting ready to get mine and I'm torn between the S&b and afe.To each his own.Also search these forums for the tymar intake.Cheap, easy, and really works!! here's a link you might like

yea as for edge. . . it doesnt tune your trans and will damage it will all that extra power. mbrp is good but i love my straight pipe
