A discrepency in TW's tunes...

I have been reading up, and have come to the conclusion that you aren't going to get more than 310-320hp to the wheels no matter WHAT tune you get on these trucks, due to the injectors.

With that being said, if I were to order the extreme on a mostly stock truck (exhaust intake), will this hamper performance any as opposed to getting just the 80hp tune, or daily or etc? Or will the extreme setting just max out what my truck has to offer?

I'm just curious

with stock sticks to Hybirds go with the Adrenaline pump. But what you are saying is nothing new, and not just with TW's tunes, with DP or anyone else as well. Only so much you can do electronically before you reach the mechanical limitaions. Many have reported higher dino numbers with a 80-100hp tune than with their 120-140 race tune.
The problem is the net jump is a bit costly, I know to rich for my blood, 10K+ , you are looking at more fuel, more oil and oil pressure, and then you need more air as well. So new fuel system, new injectors, true Big Oil and then a larger turbo to get it all burnt.
Have fun!!!

Not sure the Adrenaline is any better than a good 17* pump ..if you can maintain 3000psi.
