turbo timer wiring.. need help..
ok, just got a bd diesel turbo timer and tried installing it just now, got all the wires hooked up but no matter how hot my egts are as soon as i turn the key off the truck shuts off, wont stay runninhg. tried adjusting the temp and everything. heres what i have.. brake pedal wire shows + when i hit the brake, key wire shows + with key on, and constant power shows + all the time. so i think thos are ok. and i have the thermocouple hooked up to the + and -.. and ground shows ground.. the only thing i can think of is my keep alive wire isnt spliced into the right wire. because it shows positive when i turn the key on. the instructions say to splice into the red/light greeen wire.. its an 2002 f-350. if anyone else has one is this the right wire to splice into? or should there be another?
