boost
Hey my buddyhas a 99.5 and stage two injector stock turbo ,And he would like to know what boost he should be getting out of it ?

too much boost for that turbo. Its gonna die soon, thats gotta be hot with the stock housing!
what tunes is he running?

you could run that turbo until you can buy a new one, definately drive it conservatively, but that setup at WOT should push 34-36 lbs plenty to pop that stocker

well this is an auto , and not my truck , I do not have a stock turbo , But how much boost would it take to blow the head gasket?

|
you are going to blow that stock turbo looong before you have to worry about head gaskets. Head Gaskets are good to about 42lbs. Stock turbo is gone after a few trips above 30 lbs.
