slightly used 38r inspection
I am going to look at a 38r tonight that a guy says he only used for 1 month. What do I need to look for? Should there be any play at all in the shaft?

Look at the intake wheel! If there are any marks on there, chips, wore edges... those are not good.
Also check the shaft play. Be aware that they do have a little bit more play...since there isn't oil filling the bearings up. But if it is alot then I wouldn't do it. |

I bought it. It appears to be mint.
