Converter and air intake Q's
I have some Q's, I just bought a 00 F250 and was looking underneath it looks like stock exhaust but no converter. Was that normal in 00? Also what is the best air intake system for my model pickup or do I need one cause my 6.0 did not need one unless I was gonna build big power. Is banks ram air system good or which is a better buy, I want max air in but do not want to pay for the name. Thanks in advance.

Best and cheapest is a Tymar or you can DYI. Next best is the AIS only since it costs more. Some years didn't have a cat. Stay away from banks...to much $$ for to little

Your truck most likely did not come with a converter so no worries. The best intake system is S&B. It is a complete airbox and battery tray replacement that comes with a lifetime filter. Their flow and filtration numbers are some of the best on the market as well. Here is some more info on it.

I just installed the DIY intake. I think it the best & least expensive. Save your money for other upgrades.

Just do that damn Tymar. Sounds like a beast, filters better than stock, and the k&n you have on it now is ticking time bomb.
