Both tuners are great, its all about personal preference. Call both of them and talk to them and see which one you feel better about.

You should have better reliability with a DP or TW. To go back to stock, which God only knows why you'd want to, just pull the chip back out, it takes about 4 minutes.

TS performance. Great stuff.

And many places such as Beans Diesel Performance are able to custom tune these chips. I.E If you get new single shots. They can do the tuning for you and get you rolling all at the same time.

you just remove the chip if you want to go back to stock.... i wouldnt go with a generic TS chip... because i promise you you will end up having it reburned with custom tunes...

dont forget that you need to be running gauges with any chip/programmer

I dont think you will find better shelf tunes than TS performance. This is a thread that has seen light since the beginning of all the different chips on every single diesel forum out there.

Opinions are like a$$holes. ya know

If you are looking for something to claim other than superchips, banks or any other crap like that. Then you will want a generic 6 pos with shelf tunes.

As stated before to. A good bit of people reburn them when you upgrade. So instead of buying a whole new chip for your mods, you just get new tunes on the 6 pos.

Right, but why buy the TS tunes, then have custom tunes put on it later. Ultimately this will cost you more money. Especially considering you can buy a chip from TW and have free reburns for life. You don't get that option with TS reburns.

TS tunes do seem to be the best off the shelf tunes, but still aren't the best.

I would not be afraid to run custom tunes, they are completely safe, just dont have it turned up all the time and hammering, thats just not smart any ways

and I wouldnt get any generic tunes, even TS just go straight to custom
