4 and 5" TB Exhaust!?!?!
alright so when i bought by truck it already had a 5" straight piped exhaust on it. Now i love how loud my truck is and the massive look of the 5", but is it hurting me by having that much exhaust? I see everybody else running 4".. and i've heard people say that you get no gain from 5" unless pushin massive HP, but is it taking away any from the turbo and/or making it work harder by maybe having too less or too much back pressure?? how much backpressure does a stock turbo need in order to breath like its suppose to or better??

from what I have read the only think difference from 4 inch to 5 inch is sound and looks.
Im thinking of going with straight 5 inch, but not sure how that will look with me only having 33s
|

well i'm runnin 38's and its still looks pretty decent, more or less just proportional. But i can tell the difference for sure if i'm parked next to another truck with 4". so it should look nice and big behind 33's...

yeah well fuel milage sux, especially since i'm running 5.13 gears, but then again i wasnt goin for fuel milage with this truck.. and IMO diggin down deep in a mud whole, or flying by a little ricer and all he can hear coming is the roar of the tires and the exhaust + tires Going bye-bye is wayyyy worth the loss of a little milage. I'm from Georgia so lifted trucks are a way of life to me.. and look at it this way.. You gotta start somewhere!? and last i checked 33's are bigger than stock.. so IMO your on the right path to sucess!!

nah its all 5inch.. i was thinkin about maybe a 6 inch tip.. but i like her the way she is for now..
