Single Shot Injector Concerns

I'm thinking about putting Bean's stage 2 single shots in my new motor. I know I have to have my DP Tuner reflashed to run them. My concern is what if your far from home and your chip craps out? From what I understand your stuck with a truck that won't run. Is this something to worry about? Also are the injectors to big to tow with? It will be towing aprox 17,000 including trailer maybe a little more.

why would your chip crap out? If it works from day 1, it should work forever.

Your truck will run without the chip, but it will run like it has a big cam in it. It wont sound pretty, but will still run. Dont think you shoudl tow without a chip though.

I just put stage II single shots in mine and we were doing some testing and pulled the chip and it ran real rough. Put the DP tuner in and worked fine.

The chip is the last thing I would worry about failing. I've driven my truck on stock PMT tuning with hybrids. She ran OK, just a strange idle and the trans did not like the sloppy stock pressures.
