Interesting sites. The SP Diesel mentions it's mostly for a manual gearbox, or an auto without torque convert control. What's the pros/cons of a TC lock? Not sure what it means, but I have an overdrive button, and numbers 3, 2, and 1. I figure those selections are locking my TC or transmission--at least it feels that way.
Also, SP Diesel's mentions something about the EBV brake not activated while on cruise control. The way I interpret this: you're hauling on flat road with cruise control on, then you go down a hill with cruise control still on, SP Diesel's device won't engage the brake.
SP Diesel's looks like it may mount really well. Probably can stick it somewhere easily. The Donkey appears good, and will have to be more creative on where to mount the switch. I don't have somewhere to easily mount it. But I would probably mount it under the dash where I can't see it, but can feel for it.
It would be interesting to see what RRonning1984 is offering. Don't know how the product will be different, or what the price is. I'm going to be waiting for someone to writeup what improvements (or dis-improvements) over the competing options.
