Broke, need tires for new rims...
Ok guys, I have been wanting to throw my new wheels onto my truck for a few weeks now. I was supposed to get payed a good amount for a big job that I did but the guy is broke too and he's doing payments. I can't afford to buy new tires but I found a set of used 285/60/18's. Will these work for 18x9 wheels?
It's going on a 2wd truck with a leveling kit.

They will fit but they are a little too narrow for a 9" wheel, but they will do for a while. Everybody's broke these days! You are in some very good company!!

Forgot to mention that you could run 325's with the 9's

I just want to see what the wheels look like on my truck. My truck is not the greatest looking truck but I wanted wheels and they had a yard sale at 4wp.

Anyone else want to comment? I think I'm going to go tomorrow to get those tires unless someone has a comment as to why not...

Went over to the tire shop yesterday at the end of the day to get the tires mounted. The guy said no go on my truck, he didn't know I wanted to put them on an F250. He said they are for a lot less weight. I think he said they were C rated or something odd. I just wanted to see how the wheels looked on my truck more than anything. Oh well, at least I got to see what that size would look like on the truck.
