Its an issue with hotter than stock trucks. The AIS FILTERS really great, but alas, dont FLOW as well with added HP as previously suspected. The trade off is the quiet. Make no mistake, for a stock truck its hard to match the AIS, but when you start trying to suck excess HP through it....

pilot i dont think you have anything to worry about..i dont get the light on the dash. the filterminder on the air box is usually at the "Dirty" mark when i check it. i pull the filter out and its brand new. maybe you could try the zoodad mod? i dont know how to cure the light..

Unplug the sensor? Not sure whether that sets the light or turns it off. I have had the AIS for over 2 years and ever since I got it the first time I hammer on it after resetting the filter minder it is back over in the "replace" section. I figure no worries, I don't have EGT problems and I am getting 30+psi of boost. Filters great too. I actually haven't done the mod with the hole in the side of the box and plumbing it to the fender, but probably should. I have heard that the AIS are good for about 400hp, but that is literally just the internet rumor that I have heard. Mine seems to work ok for me, even with the 38R.
