ABS Light
My ABS light has been staying on. I checked both the fuse and the breaker fuse. Both are good. I have been told that the next thing would be the speed sensor. Does this sound right? Any input or experience would be appriciated. Thanks

Mine did the same thing awhile back after a huge snow storm. I dont know if the speed sensor is it but there is a plug on the rear pumpkin it goes on top, mine was just unplugged. I would check it. I checked it on a computer and it told me right where to check so that might be your route too

I will check it out. I think that is the sensor I was told about. Thanks for the help.

Do you have anyone near you that can pull codes. There are three speed/abs sensors. One in each front hub and one in the rear pumpkin. If they are not all reading the same the abs light will come on...

Would these three sensors affect Cruise Control?

I am not sure but it may screw that up. Just get a code reader and you will figure it out. It will tell you which sensor is bad or disconnected.

Sure the VSS affects the cruise control.
I am not a fan of changing parts but a VSS should cost less than $30, just in case you can't get a hold of a code reader. NCH |

I will try to get ahold of a code reader. Thanks for that input. As for the cost... if the vss is the back sensor on the pumpkin, it is only $18 through auto zone.

I'm guessing this requires a special code reader? I know the livewire reads codes, but not those kind......not in my experience anyways.
