Out with the OldBS and in with the 01 Super Duty

Since 99 I've been driving a late 97 2wd xcab swb. Last sunday a gentleman came to look at the toyhauler I was selling and to make a long story short he bought them both. I wasn't trying to sell the 97 at all but money talks. My 97 was piped (AFE), chipped (TW), gauged, clutched, intercooled, etc. I was very happy with the perforance both towing and hotrodding around.
So yesterday I bought this creampuff off craigslist. It's an 01 in the mid 156k range the body is about 97% and the interior is 99%. I think less than $14k was a good price. It had had the trans replaced with an OEM Ford unit 15k miles ago. It has a AIS intake and that's about it. So now I need to get this thing to the level the other one was. So I'm going to be doing an exhaust and guages before the end of the summer. So what do you think?

Who's got'em and how much? I agree the mirrors are a little small but for what I tow elephant ears are not necessary.

What the heck is the 6.0 intake? Are you talking about the FORD AIS intake? If so it is a good intake and I would leave it in there as nothing will filter better. I have never heard of someone putting a intake out of a 6.0 on a 7.3.

NICE. Yes, mirrors!

"Blizzard" The big white bio-burning 03 7.3. 6637, straight piped stock exhaust, and a "New" secret blend of Haul asBLEEPsing mods and upgrades. Suffice to say, its not the fastest, but it quite possibly is one of the quickest.

Nice truck! It looks really clean.
That truck is definitely a blank canvas it has alot of potential, you can do so much more to that truck than with an OBS (not taking anything away from the obs).
The sky is the limit... or at least your pocketbook is.
