Not getting any better

Well while tracking down my other problem with my truck.

I found out transfer case unable to shift from 2hi to 4hi, transfer case unable to shift from 4hi to 4lo.

This information was provided by auto enginuity. 4x4 light stuck on. I was wondering why. So while fixing the other probelm. I decided to find out if auto enginuity would tell me why the 4x4 light is on.

Well the above statement is the problem. Now I just need to find out what the problem is.

I'm thinking I have similar prob. The 4low light doesn't come on when switch is turned but comes on like normal on start up.

Hope you get things figured out. When it rains it pours.

wonder if our trucks have a shift actuator like the gmc's and chevy's
